If we can get the person selling the house we like down another £2k and convince our bank manager to give us a 25 year mortgage and not a 20 year one, then our mortgage repayments would be the same as our rent currently and we can afford to move!

She's been told they have to stay back for an hour one night to do it.
A week or two ago she went to that place in Winton, where the extreme behavioural problems go, for a training day, I think it's called Allenbrook?
It sounds like a maximum security prison, not the kind of place I'd want to work in.

Yeah, after school. It's at another school in our cluster. The safe guarding was 2 x 3 hrs.

Feeling foolish.
I joined a ride posted on Facebook that had a pick up point in Stretford. Lovely ride around Cheshire. By chance I was the only female. Some of them were riding no hands on a quiet stretch and so
I showed off too, (I can only go no hands going fast) then as I was slowing down again, I caught my front wheel at the edge of the tarmac and came off. Oops.
The guys were very concerned about the bike, they straightened and tightened everything, then they checked I was ok too
I was. Sore hands though!
