I hate this country's welfare system.

Still cycled in myself. Yes it was wet. Yes it was very wet. Yes it was almost like hell on earth with the suicidal car drivers that don't realise that I can't ride over those multiple drain covers otherwise I will be under their wheels. But compared to going on the Tube it was still heavenly bliss.

This afternoon has been about power factor conversion and reactive loads. I much preferred being a mechanical engineer, I understand screws and levers

The wonders of power factor and the relationship of true power and apparent power...
I love getting into this stuff with people who say "I'm an electrician" - which rapidly turns into actually meaning they can install a ring circuit and maybe even a three plate lighting circuit possibly even with 2 way switching but means they actually know precious little regarding electrical theory
