The wonders of power factor and the relationship of true power and apparent power...
I love getting into this stuff with people who say "I'm an electrician" - which rapidly turns into actually meaning they can install a ring circuit and maybe even a three plate lighting circuit possibly even with 2 way switching but means they actually know precious little regarding electrical theory

We are designing a new di/dt reactor to go in a HVDC transmission system and our customer will be charged penalties on their contracts if their power factors are too low. Rocket science is easy compared to running saturated kVA inductors in power halls.

If it was a fillament bulb you are fine, if it is a fluorescent light then the power factor will be screwed because of the induction properties of the starter. Just saying.

Funilly enough today should have been the day that I woke up knowing that I would never have to go to work again...... That was the plan in 1992
