I love getting into this stuff with people who say "I'm an electrician" - which rapidly turns into actually meaning they can install a ring circuit and maybe even a three plate lighting circuit possibly even with 2 way switching but means they actually know precious little regarding electrical theory

If it was a fillament bulb you are fine, if it is a fluorescent light then the power factor will be screwed because of the induction properties of the starter. Just saying.I flicked a light switch just now. A light came on.

Yeah I should have last year, but silly me didn't do the sums right when I was younger. I like to call myself semi retired now, only work a 4 day week.
