When I went mumble mumble years ago, we just took some old cast offs from from family! At least we are getting there on the packing list! Whether they will use it or not I will have to wait and see.

I've got to head to Aldi for a frying pan, my about to go to Uni child thinks there is going to be a huge queue of people rushing to get their hands on them.... Me I think most normal about to go to uni kids are probably still in bed

Last week, the weather was in the thirties. Beautiful, every single day of the week. I was away that week, miles from civilisation, house-sitting. This week, half-a-day of sunshine, two days of overcast and rain, today is my day off - and I need to get into town to get some dog food and run some errands, it's tipping it down. Tomorrow, I'm leaving for a tour if the weather holds, which judging by it's current temperament, it will not!

Man loses jumper.

There was a close call this week for Dundalk FC manager Stephen Kenny, who nearly lost a jumper in a local cafe. Much like any normal day, Mr Kenny was enjoying a coffee and a read of the newspaper at Panama Cafe on the Market Square. Kenny, who is a sometime patron of the popular cafe eventually finished his break, got up and paid, before leaving the establishment. However it soon became clear that one of his favourite jumpers which he had with him when he entered the cafe was no longer in his posession.

There were a couple of Dutch tall ships going through the Thames barrier just now. And a big Polish one moored at Greenwich Reach. From which I deduce that the Tall Ships festival is right about now. I'll take a camera tomorrow.

That they passed by your part of the world makes sense. The ships I saw were Dutch and Polish and they'd be likely to track around the Thanet coast. If you're in town this weekend, they'll still be around, some in Greenwich, more moored in Woolwich by the Royal Arsenal.

One came along from Dover apparently not sure where that would of started from. They looked fab by all accounts.
