Drizzly walk in the woods and picked the last of the runner beans . All the leaves and stems are now in the garden bin. Waiting for Mr K to swap the cars round with me and I'll be setting off for some shopping .

I had kale with grated cheese for lunch..
The forecast is for a slight breeze at 15:00 and off the Beaufort Scale by 17:30...
What did you do with the kale first? We've only just started eating it as a family (after getting it in a veg box last year), and I can get away with chopping it up small and putting it in with mince or stews etc. I think smallest summerling would turn his nose up at it in a lump. We had red kale this week (well it was purple).

Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
The day has turned gorgeous again so shorts and t shirt are back on.

Sitting in the garden avec les chats et cafe after being fleeced of £350 by the optician.

Actually I have not ordered the glasses yet so I'm considering maybe doing it online but as their are varifocals not sure how they do the measurements. I will research.

I just shred it and simmer or steam for 8 minutes. It could go in a stew if chopped quite small so it isn't 'noticable' :okay:
