Later today I'm driving up to Warrington to see my son, I'm going to be driving on the M6 for several hours. I need to be bright eyed bushy tailed and at my best. And I cant sleep! I woke up at half two needing a P and a drink and can't get back to sleep.

The woodburner has burned down just to a glow, the cats are sprawled out in front of it and I'm just off to kip.

Well, this weeks rocking on, it's saturday already, 3 days after today and I'm free again. Plenty or riding planned for next week too.

Morning. Would like to play spot the kitten? I won't post a picture just to make it a bit more difficult as that is how it has been since yesterday. My sister in law is staying and has brought her dog. Close encounters didn't meet with much success, cat and dog wise that is , a lot of deep growling (by the kitten) and tail wagging ( by the dog) followed by hide and seek and not a sign of any of the cats.
This morning Gwen was hiding behind the curtain looking out of the window but still no sign of the kitten. The food bowls were empty so somebody's been busy in the night. I opened the back door and whistled and a black and white kitten appeared. Two bowls of food large purrs and cuddles and things are back to normal for a while. More games later.

Apparently, according to test match special, it's Catterday. Some kind of International Cat Saturday. Oh, and England have wiped out the deficit.

Cloudy but very mild here. Both cats have mischief in their eyes this morning which is not surprising as they spent most of yesterday snoring.

Opticians visit is on the cards later.Thankfully I am not paying.

Muzzling here, and next door is using the chainsaw on his tree he prunes every second or third year.

11 hours asleep, now up, time to go to Sainsbury's.
