It is, although recipes for Victoria sandwch cajes are pretty standard. This one has strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream.

I washed and polished the road bike last night. All ready for its trip to the lbs. It was gleaming.

I put it on the rear bike rack on the car at 5am this morning and drove to work. I came out at 11am and my bike looked like it had been through a mud bath.

The roads were obviously covered in mud this morning from all the tractors in my area.

I had to go home and clean it again. But it was still filthy.

Middle summerling is going back to uni tomorrow (after treating us to a joint birthday pressy that is a surprise tomorrow), so I've put the dough on for pizza as a treat!

Just been for a ride and picked up some free apples from one house, then found a second one selling a bag of Bramley apples for 70p. So I'm going to need to cook with them next week....

I was planning on riding a bicycle later on. 77F here. Since it's getting near November, I'll probably ride the K2, and get the Trek 600 on the trainer.

Not long back from Warrington, I've driven 210 miles and spent 4 hours on the M6 today. It was a nice family outing and it was nice to have a catch up with our eldest lad.I recon I've earnt a beer tonight and a bike ride tomorrow
