I'm back online, internet went down yesterday tea time and their tech line people had to get me online again, the whole situation not being helped by my phones inability to handle calls to customer services, I had to borrow my Good Ladies phone.
Will you be watching the paint dry over lunch?Morning. Since the early hours of this morning a battle has been raging on the walls above the floor of the small bedroom. It actually started after 9 o' clock when I opened up the new tub of paint we picked up yesterday. To my horror, instead of duck egg green it seems that we had picked up duck egg blue. For those of you that have made plastic aeroplane models of the Battle of Britain will know what I am talking about. It is not that we wanted to recreate the underside of a Spitfire, it was just that it was a pretty colour. Anyway I took the paint back and exchanged it. Happy as Larry I slapped the new paint on, all was going well until I noticed that it was drying a lot darker. I looked at the tubs of paint, although the colour is the same all 3 tubs are different types of the same make.
I am going to stop for lunch.
That all sounds a bit too exciting...Will you be watching the paint dry over lunch?
I have a front one that is like a torch, I can recharge it at work if it starts getting low and means I can put the bike in the shed with ease when I get home. I am determined that only ice and really bad rain will stop me from cycling this winter. I just need to buy some full length bottoms for when it gets really cold. Not easy when you are ample sized! That reminds me that I need to recharge a couple of lights.
