#firstworldproblems: been looking online and I can't find any duvet covers that I like and can justify the cost of. Well, not ones that are made from 100% cotton, anyway.
Have you looked at the Ikea ones? They have some pain coloured ones of 400 thread count cotton?

It saves justifying the cost of one's from places such as the white company!

In my experience, Ikea bedding is all the wrong shape unless you also buy the beds, duvets, pillows from them as well.
They do UK sizes as well as Ikea sizes of you look. Here in Australia I also have Australian sizes to deal with as well. We have been given an Australian queen sized bed for the guest room... So we have all 3 to deal with!

Crikey Emma, and I thought I was bad having to get up 4 times during the night for a tiddle. Take care and get the Dr's appointment. :hugs:a gentle one!
Yeh I'm beginning to have had suspicions that I have broken ribs on both sides. if I gently flex the rib cage at the bottom on either side , there is a grating feeling and sound, not to mention it hurts like the blazes. Repeat on the other side of the rib cage, similar feeling not quite so bad in a slightly different place. Sadly the one that hurts the most is the side I have to roll onto to get out of bed which could explain s lot. I need to last another day, then I can do Drs or hospital as needed. The is only a tiny amount of bruising on the rib cage and bruising is normal indicator of broken ribs, but unless it or they are floating fractures they don't do anything about them, so...

Just got myself a bike stand, on eBay, for the princely sum of £8.99 plus £17.99 postage...

That's cheaper than the Aldi one.
It's smiling!

I bought a fridge today. The seals on the old one are so dilapidated that it has to work almost full time to keep cool. I now have to defrost it tomorrow ready for collection. I may have to buy a cooler bag for what's in the freezer.

I remain content that I use my bikes more regularly than @potsy....
I doubt that very much, mine get used every day as a makeshift clothes horse
