It seems to be damp out side! I wasn't expecting that.

Morning all. Another frosty start to the day. Bright sunshine forecast all day which will be nice because I'm on an enforced rest day today after a rather bad fall yesterday. I hurt rather badly today, but the worst injury actually has no feeling whatsoever. Not a great sign and not a great injury - also on my partially paralysed right leg which actually isn't the cause of the no feeling.

So today is expected to go from 0ºC to 20ºC and back to -2ºC inside 24 hours. so :cold: to :sun: and :heat: back to :cold::cold:.... It will be nice being warm this afternoon. In the meantime I'm defrosting slowly. My OH's thick cardy is now off, my woolly hat is off, but my cardy, 3 tops and fleece tracksuit bottoms, plus woolly blanket and woolly socks are all still very definitely on.

That's all folks.

Uh oh!! Sorry to hear that. Hope the enforced rest will allow healing. Though you know that you'll need more than one day.

I have woken with cracking headache. Thank goodness it's Friday.
New pillow time I reckon.

I needed a teapot, and found this one in a charity shop yesterday. It has no branding or marks on it at all - anyone know what it is? Not that it matters really, I think it's lovely (and a bargain at £3.49).

I had a pot of tea in a cafe the other day and the teapot was a smaller version of that. It's volume capacity was bigger than it looked and it was a German make I believe.

Morning, I've had an eventful morning. I went over to Corsham which is a few miles away to a music repairers to see if I could get some cork to repair my clarinet. I met two nice friendly chaps who were busy doing repairs to some instruments, Ray and Any ,I think ,I'm terrible with names. Ray had a go at playing my clarinet and said that it sounded odd, but when I explained that it was a natural B and not a B flat he said that would explain it. Andy confirmed that the wood was rosewood, so leaving my clarinet with them to have a new tennon cork fitted I wandered in to high street and found a proper old type cycle shop with two chaps working repairing cycles. So having had a pleasant time discovering some nice shops I am now having a hot drink and a rest.
