Nobody's mentioned changeable yet. It was grey and damp, then sunny with light cloud and now it's looked like rain clouds coming in from the east.

On a Chiltern Railways train. With a very sore throat and a heavy cold en route to give a talk, that I haven't written yet, at a conference tomorrow.

Somehow that is one bit of aging I'm running late on. Some of my friends started wearing reading glasses about 10 years ago..... I am sure I'm not going to have long before the inevitable happens. I'm not looking forward to it, having watched friends have to change glasses or find ones to look at the text on their phones or to view a photo.

We and many of our friends are/have been going through this in recent years. I suddenly have a plethora of reading glasses stashed around the house and it's recent enough for me that I still forget to take them out with me.
(When Mr Hop started this all off a few years back I thought he was over dramatising and being an ar5e . I now realise he wasn't - the former not the latter )

Well, it seems my arm hasn't dropped off overnight. Splendid.

Just typical, I couldn't nod off so I've put the washing out . It is chilly brrr freezing out there. I'm going to drink my tea and then venture out to finish off that car I was doing yesterday.
