The ride home was hard work. 2nd to bottom gear at the bottom (instead of the top) of the hill into a ferocious headwind was interesting. Thought there could be some walking involved 
I had planned on turning round at the top and doing a repeat... but sod that... far too windy.

Seemed very chilly when we walked back from my sister in law just now, I think the winter tights and jacket might be needed tomorrow. Currently sat in front of the gas fire cruising cycle chat on the tablet whilst my Good Lady watches TV, it's very cosy sat here.

I have cut down a mulberry tree and a mulberry bush, with my grandfathers double-bit Michigan axe. It has a very pretty red cherry wood handle with a good haft and a larger knob than you see around here, and a longer beard on the bit than what you usually see around here. Mrs GA fears for the safety of all and sundry whenever I get out the medieval battle axe. It's a formidable tool, in the right hand.( In the left, my stroke is a bit off.)
I reckon a photograph of said battleaxe is in order!
Give him time to wipe the blood of it first.
