That looks nicer than I was expecting
My Kindle was meant to arrive on Saturday (I'm too cheap to pay for postage) but I've just had an email saying it's arriving today.
I've downloaded a bunch of "classics" that I've always meant to read (some were even on the required reading list at uni) that are out of copyright so they're free. (See previous "too cheap" comment.) And loads of samples. Including one from a friend's book that I feel I should get to support him but it's sci-fi so not really my cup of tea. Dilemma.
In the meantime, the dog's just come in from sunbathing on the patio (the stones hadn't warmed up enough for her to lie down in comfort), there are too many birds for me to count at the feeders, and I need more coffee and breakfast before starting the day. Lunchtime appointment and then round 2 at the gym. Not sure which will be worse...
Ha! Never, ever, EVER mention the E word to your gym instructor or physio. Ever.I will probably have aching muscles tomorrow ... it's my Pilates class tonight and I accidently told the lady that last week's class was very easy, I'm expecting her revenge will be taken this evening!!!

I'm yet to work out how companies work these things out, though availability of stock is a big issue. My tablet took ages to arrive, I ordered it on the 19th September and it arrived the 30th September.

Glass for your tea pot?I remember twice ordering a new glass for my teapot & getting the distinct impression that they didn't do anything until I enquired as to how much longer I'd have to wait.
I'm sure I had a recent forum encounter with @mybike and have seen a photo of his goldfish bowl teapot.Glass for your tea pot?![]()
