It's not a battleaxe,
Mrs. GA just says it is.
Looks like an axe from the old movies.
Only with a longer handle.

That looks nicer than I was expecting:okay:

I'm still sober but I've noticed a fly in the ointment.... I'm meeting some friends who I haven't seen in absolute ages for a walk and it's always followed with a drink..... I may develop amnesia.... :secret: (actually I've already said how poor my memory is:whistle:).

Lovely ride yesterday evening, stunning blue skies and envigorating wind!!
It was mostly a cross wind so I didn't get much benefit. Trouble was, I was twenty minutes later home than the 2 hours I'd allowed so I would have half an hour to prepare a meal and get straight before Mr K got home. But the wind slowed me down more than I was expecting on the return. So it was oven on, fish steaks in sauce out of the freezer, bring in the washing, lock up the bike and close the curtains whilst they were cooking. Mr K only had to wait 5 minutes before I dished up!

My Kindle was meant to arrive on Saturday (I'm too cheap to pay for postage) but I've just had an email saying it's arriving today. :becool:

I've downloaded a bunch of "classics" that I've always meant to read (some were even on the required reading list at uni) that are out of copyright so they're free. (See previous "too cheap" comment.) And loads of samples. Including one from a friend's book that I feel I should get to support him but it's sci-fi so not really my cup of tea. Dilemma.

In the meantime, the dog's just come in from sunbathing on the patio (the stones hadn't warmed up enough for her to lie down in comfort), there are too many birds for me to count at the feeders, and I need more coffee and breakfast before starting the day. Lunchtime appointment and then round 2 at the gym. Not sure which will be worse...

My tablet took ages to arrive, I ordered it on the 19th September and it arrived the 30th September.

Glass for your tea pot?
I'm sure I had a recent forum encounter with @mybike and have seen a photo of his goldfish bowl teapot.
