It's mizzling here....:rain: Not that you actually need an umbrella but presumably enough to get you wet when you ride a few miles.... I'll find out in a bit!

Is there a local school or nursery that might like it in their 'mud kitchen'? I'm only saying that because I have just started working in our school nursery and there is an old microwave in the mud kitchen which the children enjoy `cooking' with. FYI, a mud kitchen is a place outside where children can play cook with a range of old pots and pans, spoons, jugs etc. They bring in water and compost or sand and have a great time. They all keep a pair of wellies in the classroom and we have sets of waterproofs when the weather gets more wintery.

That's a good idea Katherine, I'll ask my neighbour who is a special needs teacher in a local primary school :okay:

Morning. Two days with the fairies means I think I had better take it easy today. We did get a chance to go out and visit a National Garden Scheme Open Day yesterday in Lacock, which was nice. We did a wander around the garden looking at the various plants and were intrigued by the sculpted Yew hedges and the sculptures.

It's proper raining now - I bet she got wet!

Had a splendid weekend in Brecon. Long walk over Pen y Fan and a few other bumps on Saturday, in mostly :sun:
Then a 53 miler on Sunday, in about half cloudly, half sunny, going south past the Tal-y-bont reservoir (and I might have had to push my bike up the steep bit to the top of the col just south of there), then on almost to Merthyr, then back up quieter roads through moorland scenery, and then some quiet lanes parallel to the A40 to finish. Sadly they had been cutting hedges and Mr Spinney had to fix a puncture. But a good weekend!

Apologies if I've missed anything, but 25 pages of posts is a bit too much to catch up on!
