My train has temporarily halted just outside Rugby....however I will make it into Euston at a semi reasonable time:dance::wahhey:. I'm so glad I opted for the scenic tour of the West Midlands, rather than taking my chances at Crewe (next train to London cancelled, one after that 23 minutes late). A visit to the Tap may be called for!

The rain has now been replaced by sun. Part of this afternoon will be spent trying to sort out my printer, it prints very feint and the writing has turned blue by the following day

Landslip between Watford Junction and King's Langley. There are two tunnels there one for the fast and the other for the slow line. Train southbound on the slow line hit debris and was partially derailed. Northbound train 'clipped' it in the tunnel. I presume the fast track was closed for a while for inspection. Doubtless both slow & fast trains will be running on the one line now.
