Birthday catch up time. Happy birthdays to @User and @Gravity Aided.
I love Devon! Both the North and South coast! I haven't made it to Cornwall for quite a few years now!All through the night I could hear somebody whisking batter! Well that is what it sounds like, the sound of a fork hitting the side of a Pyrex bowl, they are still at it! I think it could be the sound of lines banging against yacht masts in the wind.
The colour of the sky is my usual grey colour and there are white tops to the waves, so it must be a bit breezy. The weather on the way down here was horrible rain with a lot of spray on the roads and had to drive through a couple of flooded areas. Oh we are in Devon by the way.
Must have gone past you at some point yesterday, M4, M5, and quite a few times on the M 5 we would have looked quite stationary. We are staying at a place called Hope Cove a bit along from Welcome. Daft smell checker! Salcombe.I love Devon! Both the North and South coast! I haven't made it to Cornwall for quite a few years now!
That is horrible! Especially when it lands in your ear. Spatter that is.Happy welding anniversary illavago, may your puddles be even with minimal spatter.
I barely left the house yesterday in all that rain! Just a quick dash to the shops. But that's a nice bit of Devon, so many little coves to explore!Must have gone past you at some point yesterday, M4, M5, and quite a few times on the M 5 we would have looked quite stationary. Morning. It's 40th Welding Anniversary Day today.
I must say that my view on life seems to have altered a lot since yesterday. I would normally be looking out of the window onto a grassy play area surrounded by houses but today there are waves crashing against rocks. Either the water levels have risen drastically or we have moved. It is the latter, we are staying in a small holiday cottage. Small in both senses of the word, a short stay and the cottage is small being cheese shaped, not Edam or Gouda but normal off the shelf cheese. At the sharp end I can raise both arms and touch the walls.
