What with my boyish good looks and charm?

Someone forgot to tell the weather gods it is a bank holiday.

Walked the legs off the dogs, gardened the garden to respectability, shed sorted, the chicken coop has had a proper clean and I've dug over their enclosure to free up a few worms and help them scrat about.

Now sat under a cloudless sky with a cold beer and devoted(*) dog beside me.

(*) I also have cake

Here you go, they're staying out of the sun in utility corner.

They're not too happy when the weather is this warm so they get the run of the garden to find a bit of shade.

Other dog keeping guard and chickens have found the disturbed ground for a good scrat

A couple of minutes ago the bird feeder and back fence only needed Tippi Hedren to have a remake on the go.

Completely agree, gave them both a go for the benefit of the doubt but is basically an hour of my life I'll never get back.

I have had an email from the Freewheel cycling pub, nr. Faversham, telling me that they are having a bit of a do this afternoon.
We shall go and investigate.

Now that was fun. Loads of folks in the pub garden including a whole gaggle of riders from Penge CC.
The entertainment was a band called the Fantasy Orchestra, about 20 strong, all sorts of instruments, a bit Bonzo Doggish ! Very varied repertoire and well received. W'ere glad we went.
