Off to the emporium that is Tecso, to get some croissant for Mrs L and myself. Then I think slime tube on to back wheel and a bit of a clean on the trusty steed ( chain looking not very silvery at the mo)
my OH is working on it. that and teaching them to sing.... you need to have read one of my tour journals to understand that one. we met some singing chickens at a campsite on the Hadrian's Wall Cycle Way a few years back....
I enjoyed reading Satnavs post, as I'm sure others will too.A simple no would have been wiser.
Cold toast?![]()
Yes. I never have toast unless it's on a plate with sausages, bacon, eggs and possibly beans. You've not been to a hotel then?

Ah, but that's different as if you're eating toast as part of a cooked breakfast, it is reheated by the hot food and soaks in the flavour of everything to transcend into something more than mere toast. For some reason many hotels want to bring your toast before the FE and by the time you get around to it it's cold. It's now our practice to ask for the toast afterwards.
mere toast.
We have just woken up. I am yet to tell Lu that it rained over night and her washing is soaked again.
The Prof is an even stronger woman than I thought.
Congratulations Rocky.

In hotels or your house?Breakfast toast is always cold, whilst teatime toast is hot. Why this should be I do not know.
If it's from the wrong bread or not toasted correctly, then yes. (Edit: or cold).Does not compute. Mere toast? MERE toast??!!
I hope that's a going bald reference...I was planning on going out this morning, but it is duller than dishwater out there. Supposed to brighten up later so hopefully will get out then.
