Delicious, but the raspberry one is my favourite.
Back from a few days at my parents. Siblings from Toronto, Dublin and Esher also there. Quite an occasion. The coincidencidental fact that it was also their 55th wedding anniversary was even more special. Sadly, their health is not very good. It looks like I'll be visiting during term time too.

morning everyone. lovely sunny day here again. -3.5C overnight and the water pipes just about survived.... I'll have to have another look at the situation.
My first 2 chooks have arrived. one hen and one pullet. one black (though has a blue tint) and the other white.
I get another 3 in 2 weeks time. They are rescue hens.

my OH is working on it. that and teaching them to sing.... you need to have read one of my tour journals to understand that one. we met some singing chickens at a campsite on the Hadrian's Wall Cycle Way a few years back....Do you want suggestions for their names?
