I did go into work today and they were delighted to have me back in work part time starting on Monday. Part time was my idea. Everyone was really pleased to see me. Work is dropping off at this time of the year and they fired 5 people this week. Good to have a job to go back to.

I have just been doing a rain dance, I washed my car. As cars are getting bigger I think it is time manufacturers came up with a ride on system. Vosper Thornycroft used to make one I seem to remember.

Someone rang in work today, very poorly, full of cold. I am sure it is just pure coincidence that he has 2 weeks booked holiday which started at13.00 today. Someone else is off sick with a broken elbow, can barely move her arm, her grand daughter posted a picture of her on facebook on a rollercoaster with her arms in the air

I am home and the sun is shining, the beach is gorgeous and i have 2 cats snoozing beside me.

Oh and i may have a Chimay Blue nearby.

I am sat in my office, the sun is shining and I have a cup of gingerbread tea. Come 5pm when I am taking the log route home all will be well in my world too.

I am not at all jealous, no really, honestly I am not

I just followed all the Q1 road markings all the way to Westminster Bridge at Waterloo and back. Pretty smooth and virtually traffic light free until you to get to the centre, where there about 6 of them. I'm not sure I'd want to cycle the section that runs behind Millwall football ground alone at night mind. Useful, all in all though.

Had a few errands to run this afternoon and was going to cycle but decided to drive instead to save time as I was working on my Pashley.

Due to endless diversions and hold ups due to roadworks and an accident and a ridiculously congested town centre, my twenty mile trip took 2.5 hours

Why oh why didn't I take the bike

Done for the weekend. Home from work, car booked in for its service, M&S raided, and me booked in for my holiday jabs. Lu has just brought me a cuppa and a sausage roll. Nothing go do but relax.

In other news, one of my big projects has finally achieved all of its test criteria, that's a bit of pressure off.
