Lesser spotted Albanian pond warbler, or possibly a peacock, either way I hope I don't get one landing on my bird table

I had one in the oak tree near the bedroom a year or so back. I didn't get much bloody sleep as it sat there squawking all night.

I have always fancied croquet. We have a lawn tennis and croquet club and they do taster sessions.

I love them , never eaten one though but happy to try one. My friend had one on her farm when we were at primary school. He was called Roger.

You see countless ones in India as they are the national bird and boy do they know it. I have a photo somewhere of one on the back of a cow , feathers all splayed in front of a Jain Temple. It was a gorgeous sight.

My landlords used to have one. Don't know what his original name was but he was re-christened Percy the Pervert on account of his habit of flying up onto my (sloping) roof with a crash and a bang, as per TMN's, and peering in through their bathroom window. We're out in the sticks - we don't have frosted glass in our bathroom windows. And like mine, their toilet faces the window, which is perfect if you enjoy a loo with a view. But then they had some townie guests who didn't appreciate the audience.

The fridge and freezer arrived a little while ago, they have now got to settle for 8 hours before we switch them on.
