I had a go at knitting once, I made a Koala bear for our son. My wife had to sew it together as I am useless at that sort of thing, we have still got it somewhere.

An awful lot of chaps do knit and crochet. My dad made his three grandchildren the most beautiful crocheted blankets when they were babies.

I'm going bowling (lawn bowls) this afternoon.... the local club is looking for new members and I played a bit in the past.

No, I'm not retired, I don't use a zimmer frame, nor do I do funny handshakes. So you can all get the cliches out of the way quickly...
