No i was looking for the Barn Owl i think i have here at my holiday cottage.

Have you tried going outside?

I was on the terrace with a chilled glass of Soave and the local birdlife for company. I could hear the owl but couldn't see it. A bit like the booming bitterns i have heard numerous times when i have been on the Levels but failed dismally in spotting them.

Morning. Gwen decided that as she couldn't climb into the plastic bag because it had been knotted , she would kill it , grabbing it by it's throat and pounding it with her hind legs. The bag is now in tatters.

Well if you're doing that, you'll have to warn your cats as Snipe and I will be coming too. Actually, Madame Fluff will probably be grateful for Snipe as her tail will distract Henry until the end of days.

Whoops. I went outside to hang out some washing to discover that I left the garden rubbish bin lid open when I'd been dead heading in the garden before I went to Pilates. It's now tipped up and slowly draining out brown liquid through the grass cuttings.

Jack's off for his first hydrotherapy session this morning. I shall see if I can get some action shots.

My last JRT would have absolutely hated hydrotherapy but Idiot Dog would love it and if she wasn't snoring, I'm sure she'd offer to go in Jack's place if it's not an enjoyable experience.
