Jo has very kindly sent me a "cake map" of some of her tried, tested and recommended cake stops around the cottage i have rented. and i have a recommended pub about 4 minutes from my front door.

I think i am going to have to do some serious cycling to justify this.

I managed to make some noises on my clarinet today that resemble Au Clair de la Lune. My wife did recognise the tune. It is the first time I have ever played a tune on an instrument. I borrowed a book from the library to try to teach myself how to play. A New Tune A Day for Clarinet book.
Gwen doesn't approve, the noises either keep her awake or the squeaking makes her dash out of the house.
