Not looking too good for my MIL. She will be transferred to a local care home shortly, but has been diagnosed with acute kidney injury, which is basically sudden onset kidney problems. Given her heart failure, this looks like another big problem. My wife went earlier and was given a sheet to either let her mum read, or she to read it. MIL was sobbing she was dying (we've had this for years). This might be the case now. It's going to to be tough.

I saw something about that one the news and hoped everyone was on bikes speeding by the stationary cars, it sounded like a nightmare!

In fact when traffic straddles the middle of the road and blocks all the cycleways, cycling becomes a ''proceed slowly'' activity. Still about 5 times quicker by bike though. And twice as quick by foot.
