I miss himBut a loveable slapper, all the same.
Turned out @Mad Doug Biker was a second account run by @Puddles and had to be deleted. Sad.Has he gone?
You're lucky, Potsy won't even accept my friend request.
Proof!I've never seen Puddles and Mad Doug in the room at the same time, either.
No, I'm fine, thanks for the offer.....ah, that is at the heart of Hume's problem with induction. I'm currently revising this and could give you 2,000 words on it, if you'd like.
Have you not heard of it?WHERE ????
I read that as house, not mouse.... I was quite impressed for a few seconds.I just discovered the forward and back buttons on the side of my mouse. Well I never!
Paperwork filled in and awaiting my certificate. A 12yr old boy behind the counter at Evans at St Pancras has been advised to ensure they have one in stock for me
I have gone for the M6L in Tempest Blue. To be honest this may not get as much use as my other bikes but the opportunity to get one this way is too good to pass up. Hop has my last folder a Raleigh which didn't fold down enough. I like to compactness of the Brompton.
You'll have to shorten your name to HW
Sad news indeed.Just found out that Dusty had to be put down the day we left the UK.
Had thought with summer (in the UK) being just around the corner that he would have lasted until the autumn at least having survived this last winter.
Sadly he took a fall on one of his walks, split his shoulder bone in two and with his heart condition being so bad (and why I stopped walking him) they were unable to operate on him.
RIP Dusty

I saw something about that one the news and hoped everyone was on bikes speeding by the stationary cars, it sounded like a nightmare!Apparently if you spill diesel and hydraulic fluid along half the length of the northbound Blackwall tunnel the whole of South East London comes to a beep-beep standstill. Also, if I get caught in a traffic jam and listen to the traffic news it drains the car battery so that, having picked up one of the middle grandchildren from nursery, the car won't start again so I have to phone the person who I was trying to save time for to come and bump start me. I estimate that I've driven 15 miles and it's taken me over 4 hours. And the car's still about an hour and a half from home (about 2 miles away). I had to park up and walk because I was getting murderous. I'll cycle up later and pick the car up when it begins to clear up. And I really could have done with a drink.
