I'd take it back, it's slow
Yep that's the upside along with the weather and the wineWe've often thought about emigrating to Australia. Mrs R has strong work connections with Brisbane and Melbourne. We have many friends living there. The only thing that keeps us here is elderly relatives - if it weren't for them, I suspect we'd move in a jiff. I suspect academia is slightly less sexist than the police. I just love the outdoor life and the sports.
I read an article yesterday on the BBC website about Brits who emigrated and then changed their mind after a few years... And architecture was one of the things they missed, and I gathered it was quite long working hours too.
Sounded like the best bits of both islands would be a good combination!
It is 2 more weeks to go and then see the doc 2 weeks later. How much longer have you got with the treatment?
We all hope it does the trickIt is 2 more weeks to go and then see the doc 2 weeks later.
Had an acquaintance who emigrated to Oz. When we next spoke, she said ... different place, same sh!t, but warmer!I read that as well, strange to think people's dreams are dashed by reality.
Happy Birthday whenever it was. Nice watch, I tried turning the tablet round to read the writing and the picture followed.
You can wave to all my relatives while you're thereAny reason for the headache other than the usual?
It is Saturday right? It seems ages since I had a full weekend off, and with bank holidays I'm not sure where I am. Anyway, herrings in mustard sauce for breakfast, a haircut, shave and shower followed by a trip to the jewellers because I fancy treating myself to a really nice watch, none of the ones I own cost more than £20.
Also off to bother Leamington Spa later for some sex and drugs and rock & roll
Not really a hangover - didn't drink enough. Lack of sleep from the night before and worrying about not being able to go to my grandad's funeral.Any reason for the headache other than the usual?

Bering watch, It's August, but we are going away for a break by the sea bank holiday week so I wanted it for then. I think it is the most I have ever spent on myself for an unnecessary item.Ko

Well, we've a holiday booked and would basically lose the best part of £1.5k as most stuff has been booked and paid for. My mother has banned me from cancelling and said she'll make sure the interment part is organised for our return. But it's my grandadwhy can't you go?
Very very nice.
