Here for rides.
At least it's not a violin, my god they sound awful in beginners hands.
I suspect not as bad as my harmonica sounds in my beginners mouth and hands. ;)

I got a travel hammock at Aldi . It was wonderful to lie in,hard to get out of. A perfect alternative to a tent, though. About ten pounds in cost, and fits into a small bag. I could see the sensibility in adding tree straps to this, and a small overtarp for a roof. It swayed in the breeze yesterday, and I watched clouds and buzzards for a bit. Not hawks, actual vulture type buzzards. Very interesting accomodation.

We are celebrating. Just been to Hertford and back. 37.5 miles. It's the first time Mrs R has cycled that distance since March 2014 when she injured her neck and broke both arms.

Yay! Well done both.
I nearly went to Hertford today - I was planning to ride the length of the Mimram, from just outside Whitwell to where it meets the Lea in Hertford. I woke up late and went to Baldock and Letchworth instead.
