I woke at some unearthly hour that started with the number 5.... so treated myself to coffee in bed. I read today that some company is rewarding staff who get a month's worth of good nights sleep. I'm kind of pleased I can't get that as I would struggle to ever win that bonus which would probably make me sleep worse, but it is a good idea.I got up at 6:26 AM today.
As did I, as it was my day off, I actually rented a van and drove Mrs. GA to Springfield, the state capitol, for a medical consult, then drove home, walked the dogs and went for lunch. Then went to building and garden store and got home just in time to cut the grass before the thunderstorm hit.I got up at 6:26 AM today.

The plot worked!
By an unusual arrival of luck, I popped out for Greenwich to buy a birthday card and got back completely dry. By the time I'd got up the one flight to my hovel it was pouring again. Still, it's not all good - the laundry absorbed about 2 days' rain after the earlier downpour, which was worth about another 2 days. I'll check earlier but I'm not optimistic.Just got soaked. I popped out to meet Mrs R for a cup of tea and a bun near where she has been lecturing. It was dry when I started cycling but soon chucked it down. I've just got back and it's stopped raining.
That reminds me, I've got a week's worth of Blues Eyes in the digital pipes. No spoilers, as per.....Just finished watching Thicker than Water a Swedish series.
Although it wasn't the normal Scandi drama type it was really good.
Got to catch up on 2 weeks worth of Blues Eyes now.
I went to lie down shortly before then.I got up at 6:26 AM today.
