Here the rain stopped at dinner time, though it might be back later. I've spent the afternoon with the hoe in my hand weeding, the weeds seem less unwilling to leave the soil if its been raining.

I was out with the expanding wood glue again today. Couple of creaky floorboards driving my nuts. We will see if it works as well as it did on the stairs a few months ago - they are lovely and creak free. Also used it on a gate post that's screwed to the garage wall - getting a little movement due to the weight of the gate I made (out of left over decking - sturdy) - that's worked fantastically to hold it.

Just got soaked. I popped out to meet Mrs R for a cup of tea and a bun near where she has been lecturing. It was dry when I started cycling but soon chucked it down. I've just got back and it's stopped raining.

I didn't want to go any way!

I did offer to buy you chips smothered in melted cheese the other day and you turned me down flat. So I thought I'd buy Mrs R a bun instead

Just back from a lovely long lunch with my friend at a very good restaurant on the beach to celebrate her birthday.

of these were drunk and i can thoroughly recommend it . Such a beautiful warm day today as we were sat looking out on to the millpond sea.

I managed to time my commute home so that the heavens opened again! And now it's stopped

There weren't many cyclists around! Please can we have a dry day tomorrow!

I was wondering where you were as I hadn't seen any of your posts for a while.

Im in the UK at the moment but returning to Denmark on Saturday. Thank the lord. :0). I have enjoyed the fish and chips and pints of bitter though.
