I did not feel like cooking, I also fancied a beer. Fortunately there is a tailor made solution to this problem. It's known as the pub.

Paying for the exertion now. Ohh ahh, my back. At least cleaning the upstairs windows was good stretching exercises for my spine. Paid for it when I went swimming as I couldn't do as much as I wanted. A little red wine to ease the pain I think.

Solicitor has been back in touch. Looks like they are ready to take the third party insurers to court as they aren't keeping up their promises under the rehabilitation code. They are arranging a spinal specialist to come out and see me at home - something they would do much later on, but giving the run-around from the insurer, they are going after them.

Despite the lovely weather, I'll do a bit on the turbo again tomorrow, as instructed by my physio !!! Swim and turbo she said !!!

Turned all gray, cloudy and windy here. Had a bike ride after lunch with the charming Mrs. GA at an old-time Chinese Restaurant.

The Democrats must be loving it, all they have to do is spend the next six months setting traps in full knowledge that he doesn't have the wit to avoid treading on them.
Yes I am. This was something that has been waiting to come home to roost since the 1980's campaign and the first "litmus test"(e.g. throwing everyone who wasn't right wing or ultra right-wing out of the party to appease the Reaganites)thereby robbing the Republicans of centrist and near left support in favor of the support of the religious right and "Moral Majority" voters. It was a good ride, but now it has come time to pay the piper.

As bystanders, we can only hope.
