Such a contrast!
It's no wonder that we all talk about the weather so much.
I have a group of children for some social skills games. They are 6 or 7. This morning as we were settling down they were talking about the weather. If you had overheard them you'd have thought they were 67 the way they were talking.

Just managed to get a little bit of raking done in the front garden.Then it rained with a few bits of sleet.Won't get the soil much smaller.Next job is seven paving edges then the plants.A paved centre piece and then spread bark chippings.What with the awful weather,this job has been done in fits and starts.Centre piece is coming out,the other slabs will be spaced one foot apart,a flower or bush will go in the centre and the centre piece will be used as a stepping stone just to the side of the main slabs.

Well the weather today has behaved itself from the point of view of stuff falling from the sky ... not a drop as far as I'm aware! However it was freezing and I was glad of an extra layer but it feels like the middle of winter rather than spring.

A day of mixed halves ... and I still have something I'm not looking forward to to do.... I've got to go and collect charity envelops for a friend.... she always asks every year for me to do my road, and I hate knocking on doors and asking, but then I try to remember it's not for me (it's for what was the National Children's Home ... now Action for Children).

Do people play toothpaste skittles?
Most tubes seem to have large screw tops so you place them upright, so when you pick them up or put them back you can't help nudging the one next to it. With training you can clear the whole shelf.

I worked in a supermarket for several years. The woman who was responsible for the "health and beauty" aisles used to grumble like anything if I came to help as I would inevitably send something flying and the whole damn lot would go.

I've been to the Doctors today, According to the doctor this is the cause of my back problems. I'm now on Co-Dydramol for the next month.
