Mildly annoyed with my Spinal Consultant. Still no sign of an appointment so I can officially get rid of my TLSO brace. Had the CT Scan 2 months ago. I've phoned and my Case Manager has now called twice. They apparently have a backlog of appointments but aren't yet running additional outpatient clinics. I basically need him to say I can start to think about returning to work. Occupational Health appointment will be about 4 weeks away, then however long it takes them to sort a chair/desk for me. Oh well, might be back for the summer.

I have nail varnish on for the 1st time since NYE

I'm on at least my third different colour this year, but I'm not sure who has seen my toes apart from once at Pilates and one afternoon when it was nice enough for Birkenstocks so it's been a bit wasted but I keep hoping that any day soon I'll start wearing them at work!

It might be useful to be able to remove them and then I might fit some smaller sized shoes... I'm a size 8! When I was a teenager it was a problem finding shoes to fit, at least these days 8 is more normal.

As a kid I walk home barefooted and then put my shoes on at the end of our road, until one of my mum's friends told her what I did each day. She didn't approve.

Oooh me too I am a size 8... I am not very tall though I only got the "tall" gene in the feet!

It's just occurred to me that I don't know what size shoes my daughter wears. I'd guess they're probably 8s as well.
