And having had that big dinner I am now informed I have to go into a very long and potentially boring meeting soon, there is a chance I'll be at the back snoring

Well I managed to stay awake despite it going on for nearly 2 hours, it lasted that long I've had to go straight to my afternoon break now instead of going back to work

I have just purchased a hat that looks like this... so far his uniform has cost me £100+ I shall be sewing him into it and using super glue to keep his hat on his head cos if he loses any of this I will murder him....

If he's anything like #1 son (Gravel's older brother) he'll lose it and he lose the sewing and the superglue as well.

He does! For cub camp I made him a bag for all his kit, with pockets in, and each pocket embroidered with what should be in the pocket, so he knew what he should have and where he should pack it, all his stuff also was named... I collected most of his kit back over the next few weeks after camp either from the cub leaders or other parents....

A lady has just collected a mermaid tail and ordered another shark after she purchased 2 sharks on Saturday... I am doing some heart shaped teal bunting for a another order...

Can you be careful what you talk about.... I've not even mentioned mermaid tails and suddenly they have appeared on the ad bar in Facebook..... Mind you tails are better than a lot of the things that do get talked about on here.... Just you never know who is listening

And I'm a horrible mum.... I never let mine watch TV.... If they thought that was the reward for pulling a sickie they wouldn't have gone to school any day I hope the little one gets better quickly

Humf. Boiler had been looked at by our tame plumber and is now condemned. It's not majorly old and he's never seen anything fail quite like it. There are melted and missing bits. I'm rather thankful it didn't make the house disappear into a pile of ash

When #1 son finished his Duke of Edinburgh's expedition trip in Wales he left his wallet, phone and other valuables on the train on the way back from North Wales....never to be seen again. He'd just phoned us (before changing trains) to tell us what a hero he was and how he'd kept the team together, navigated the route and organised the camping

The older one does not get to watch TV is it very very boring for him... unless I see physical signs such as projectile vomit or a temp through the roof... User76 loves school and literally had to be sent home by the Head Teacher one day as she refused to believe she had to stay at home, she even told the Head she would work really hard if she was allowed to stay at school... so she gets more leeway...

I used to change mine on an hourly basis (or so it seemed) but have kept this one for quite a while.

Mildly annoyed with my Spinal Consultant. Still no sign of an appointment so I can officially get rid of my TLSO brace. Had the CT Scan 2 months ago. I've phoned and my Case Manager has now called twice. They apparently have a backlog of appointments but aren't yet running additional outpatient clinics. I basically need him to say I can start to think about returning to work. Occupational Health appointment will be about 4 weeks away, then however long it takes them to sort a chair/desk for me. Oh well, might be back for the summer.
