First BBQ of the year. New Summer House is now finished (insulated, ply lined and painted). Will make a nice turbo training room.

I'm currently sat in the summer house, on the tablet thingy, with the BBQ round the side in what I now call the BBQ area and the chimnea is on.

My cat's not so sure, she is a bit disappointed the overgrown veg patch has been replaced by raised planters, decking and a shed.

I am now not doing dash to school, shove dinner down their throats, do homework, supervise chores, Taekwondo, sit around for 1/2 hour, pop one into Scout swiming, home, bath, bed time story, bed for the other one, then back out pick other up from scout swimming, rinse and repeat the same at home for that one... I have that loveliness to look forward to next week & the week after, then TKD returns to after school...

The hairdresser is coming, lucky I spotted it on the calendar... so it was a dash to get cash, quick hose down for the pair... and now we are waiting all scrubbed and combed for her to arrive...

Yes its lovely, I can do this stuff without work getting in the way. Im now doing the garden, grass has been cut, perennial sunflowers have had last years dead growth trimmed, the Hydranger has had its old flowers removed and I'm just about to start the hoeing.
