The vets have rung. He's ruptured his cruciate ligament and needs surgery. They also need to address his luxating patella.

Unfortunately, the surgery is quite specialist and they're having to get another vet in with the specialist equipment to do it.

It's going to cost between £4k and £5k... and my insurance limit is £4k per annum.

Looks like my holiday plans are on hold this year....

...but he's worth it.
Ouch. Hope it all goes well for him.

Very good lunch with a pensioner. Now looking at the BBC newsroom, tour about to start.

Are you going to be contestants of 'Pointless' perchance!

Fair weathered, fair minded but easily persuaded.
Small ride in the warm sun into town and back just to keep the muscles from seizing up after yesterdays recovery epic.

I arrived home to find Sasha sprawled on the patio and to see the flash of ginger and white hurtling through the cat flap. Henry is still not used to me coming in through the garden gate.

Can you not put these kind of posts behind the spoiler tag?

Or just not post them?

More likely they're a bit late for "wots my line".

Going for a walk as my vivofit doesn't count a ride with Mrs MY as exercise.

Specially for @User14044

Netgear Wifi doobrie working.

Unhook Seagate network drive from router, plug doobrie into router, seagate into spare network socket on doobrie.

Run to garage, plug in other doobrie, press pair, run back to house press pair on main doobrie. Then press the WPS on router, run back to garage and press the wifi button. Bingo.

Network address is cloned. So powerline signal out to garage and WIFI from garage (near Summer house) - Sorted.
