My Samsung PC monitor is annoying the cr#p out of me! :angry: It keeps turning off even when I'm actively using the PC, and judging by comments on some internet fora, I'm not the only one with that problem with Samsung monitors.

My Cars got a new Cam Belt, and my wallets crying in a corner.

Mind you I got a good deal from these people

Saved over a hundred pounds.
Dont you love cambelts...
New belt, maybe £30.
Oh no, you'll need new rollers/pulleys....
Oh, and while you're at it, it makes sense to replace your pump as well.
£30 belt has turned into a £500 minimum job.:stop::whistle:

I know, Mototech were very good, the best quote I could get was £300, Mototech did it for £176. I haven't had the car long, a 2003 Hyundai Getz 1.3, but I saw it needed a Cam Belt when I was buying it and knocked the price down a bit, I can feel a difference in the car now its been done.

i get mine done by Lomo. they have a lab close to work, alas, it's moving. they are used to 'interesting' film formats and strange exposures. they also scan the negatives and email/dropbox the files. very handy. they charge £8 for standard 35mm, £9 for 120 and £10 for 35mm with sprocket holes/panoramic shots. B&W is £2 extra. that is for processing and scanning. not cheap, but they are good, especially with the DIY camera where the shots tend to overlap and the exposure can be quite diverse from shot to shot.

there are still a few film labs around - the Lomo site has a list of labs they recommend on their site.

i may start to do my own B&W - as i'll just be processing the film and not printing i don't need a darkroom. i can then scan the negs.

the Lomo Lab do a post service too, so i'll probably have to use that now the actual lab is heading further to east london.
I use One Vision in Coventry for colour stuff-they're very reliable. B+W I do myself.BTW I love Ilford XP2, which uses the same process as colour neg although B +W.
