There's a snowstorm underway outside. Luckily, I got my shopping done this morning. Guess I'll hop on the treadmill, seen as I can't very well make it to basketball when the weather's like this.

I have a stack of books to read....just don't seem to get the time and by the time I go to bed, I'm so tired I read the same paragraph 10 times then give up

I have a stack of books to read....just don't seem to get the time and by the time I go to bed, I'm so tired I read the same paragraph 10 times then give up

My OH - okay, my BETTER half is an avid reader, she loves it so I thought I'd give it a swing. I used to read a lot - back when I was a younger man, but since I've gotten into writing and the computer has kinda become my reading platform... I've educated myself through reading articles and such online rather than a newspaper, magazine or book.

But, I have a Kindle that I haven't touched in about eight months - we lost power that time I read from it - I was left with no other choice. And so, I figured it's about time I dusted off the Kindle and since I've been reading and following Alastair Humphreys' journeys and adventures a lot, it made sense to me to get his first book about his journey cycling around the World.
