Ah, it's all coming out in the wash now.

If you believe the usual suspects of the gutter press, it seems Jos has the hots for the woman that Red Bull Spice has been messaging and had been spending a lot of time with her. Jos is alleged to have "become furious" when RBS started messaging her.

Suddenly it all makes sense. The animosity, the bad mouthing, the threats, the leaks...

I have my doubts this is all over the lady in question.

But if it is, they are a massive pair of planks

F1 used to be a beautiful sport , and so was Silverstone before it was commercialised, . Very sadly Collins died at the Ring on his next outing. Worth watching if you have any interest in F1 history
Watching the pitstop is quite something else. Just two blokes on the side of the track with a stack of wheels and a watering can full of fuel. Quick glass of water and a leap after the car to close the fuel cap...

Thanks for posting that fantastic film and tribute to Peter Collins.
Collins was born and raised in Mustow Green, near Kidderminster. His dad ran a garage there.
Recently, Worcester Museum ran an open display Collins’ of memorabilia following the death of his actress wife. It was brilliant.
On 6 May, at Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb Course in Worcestershire, a life size bust of Collins will be unveiled. An identical cold cast, life-size bust was created as part of the project and has been unveiled at the Ring Werk Museum at the Nurburgring in Germany where Collins sadly lost his life in 1958.

Read McDonough's " Peter Collins all about the boy" if you can get your hands on it. superb and thought provoking account of his life. " Mon Ami Mate " is another great book about Collins and Hawthorn , they were gifted and noble guys , so different from the backstabbing and petty characters we are so familiar with of later times

Strangely enough, “Peter Collins All About The Boy” is sitting in my living room below a painting of the man racing in Monaco. Bought for me as a Christmas present, but not read yet.
i visited his grave a few times in Stone and cycled by his marital home near Shatterford.
His story is fascinating.

If you think Hawthorn wasn't a nasty piece of work behind the scenes you have a lot to learn .
