Yep. Getting teams and fans to stadiums doesn’t come easy.
Even a nice green sport like cycling has a huge footprint. The peloton has a entire entourage of vehicles driving 100s of miles every day. Including all support vehicles, motorcycles, team buses, advertising vehicles, security, helicopters etc.

I just stick to the BTCC and Formula E these days. I listen to the F1 more out of a 41 year old habit than anything else.

How on earth do you work that out?
Hamilton has never won more than 11 races in a season. Verstappen won 19 this year, out of 22. Perez won 2, and Sainz won the only race not won by Red Bull.

It doesn't sound very good for next year. Red Bull are so far ahead that they can just tweak their car a bit whilst other teams are still scratching their heads as to discover what Red Bull have done and keep within their budget.
Verstappen hasn't really been challenged all season and has slowed down so as not to raise suspicions about his car . The total domination of the race seems like the car should be in a different formula.
Did he say that? All I can find is that next years car has had a full redesign and they are hopeful that it will be a contender and solve many of the problems with the 2022/2023 cars.
