I am a big fan of F1 and touring cars.
I used to do security at touring car events, the atmosphere was amazing.
Touring cars used to add success ballast to cars/drivers to try to change the outcome of the next races(making the cars heavier/ slower) to allow other drivers to be in the mix.
this really mixed up the grids.
F1 used to have fuel stops and tyre changes at the pit stops , this to mixed up the racing action and made it exciting to watch.
Now F1 it’s just all about tyres.
Bring back safer refuelling or a touring car style adding of weight to mix things up
i understand the drivers can make a big difference to the outcome of races along with teams (money) , but it’s boring seeing the same drivers winning all the time.
