I jet washed all the salt from underneath mine today, I used a Ryobi cordless jet washer with a bucket of really hot water and this seemed to shift it, as I ride all year round it does collect everywhere, don’t worry I keep away from all the bearings!
It’s 11 years old this year and after 5 years of ownership I am probably ready to change it, but after trying lots of other stuff, all roads come back to another S1000R so I’m going to just buy a later lower mileage version of mine!
