Doubtless someone local to this case. will be grumbling about this, spouting the usual guff about "catching murderers/rapists/drink-drivers... He's not done nuffink wrong!"

Anyone here owned a reasonably recent Moto Guzzi ?
No, but I've lusted for a few. I always thought the engine layout of the Guzzis was the proper way to go for two cylinders - 90 degree twins are well-balanced mechanically, and the cylinders are splayed out for good airflow and easy maintenance. And I solidly prefer shaft drive over a chain.

However, Guzzis were never a thing where I live, and in over fifty years of riding, I've never seen one on the road, or even parked or for sale. Though I did see a Guzzi in a traveling museum exhibit at the Pyramid in Memphis, Tennessee. It was one of the V8 racing bikes, and since there was nobody nearby to object, I put my greasy fingerprints on it. If they didn't want people to touch the motorcycles they should have made the barriers higher.

Moto Guzzi made a handful of nice-looking bikes, but most of them - at least the ones that hit the American market, ranged from "unfortunate" to "fugly" to "WTF!?" I'm not partial to manga-on-meth or fake-chopper styling, which seems wildly inappropriate for them.

I recently became aware of the V100, which is very interesting, mechanically. It's sad, but I understand why they went to water cooling, and it looks like they did a good job with the new engine considering the regulatory burden the engineers had to accomodate. Still, though I wouldn't kick one out of my garage, I can't say I'm impressed with the styling of any of the models I've seen so far.

I was at the motorbike shop and came across a 2019 Honda Super Cub 125. I did not even know we had them in Denmark. 1400km and looks as though it has never been out of the showroon.

I really could not resist and bought it on the spot.

I got home and posted my Honda Innova on FB marketplace. It was collected the following day for the asking price.

I am now sorting out racks and panniers. Looking forward to some small bike adventures 😁

Yes I've seen them here, they look very cool. It retains some of the original looks but with some nice modern touches. The ones I've seen are very expensive for what they are though, which is basically a Jap/Chinese 125. But they do look a lot of fun and I htink are more designed with our age group in mind rather than 17 year old CBTers

I have also recently bought this Royal Enfield 350 Classic. Again the old look with all the modern touches. 😁

This is what I will get some day when we have money. It's always been my favourite (for a comfy cruising bike) but the odler ones always put me off with the decompression starter and right side gear lever. But I imagine the newer ones don't have either. Have you tried it with a pillion passenger?

Lovely bike. I’ve toyed with the idea of picking up a new Oilfield (not a typo!) but the dealer network is pretty thin over here (Canada)

my old Enfield gave my over 17 years/76000km of pretty flawless service.

Now I’m retired so it’s cafe racer time again, gotta relive those mis-spent days of my youth.
