They must think there's a market if they're building them, but how much?

It not my cup of dried leaves in boiling water, but if they came by the money honestly and have sufficient to spare then that's up to them.

It's a resto mod, so a re-work of the original having been brought to more modern standards and I've no doubt they will be sold out in no time.

A re-release of the RS200 might also be on the cards

The RS2000 was the ultimate rally car of its day. Until the Audi Quattro came along.

I can imagine that would get more buyers than the Mk 1.

Interested.

But only if it leaves oil stains on my driveway, rots overnight and breaks down accasionaly. You know; like the old days......

I had a MK2 and it was rotting quite bad underneath at 10 years old. Shame really. I would love one of them but I think could have more fun with that money.

Had a yellow banana yellow Mexico as a 18 year old which I never really appreciated...imagine being able to afford a car and insure it yourself on an apprentices wages nowadays 🙄
Anyway I'm up for selling a kidney for one...but will it give me my youth back ?

It’s not really a “restomod”; that is a car that has been restored and modified. It’s a “continuation”, meaning they are brand new cars, newly-built with continuation chassis numbers, but designed to meet current regs.
