I'd like to see the lonely goatherd win a race in his final season!

I'd like to have had breakfast served on a silver platter in bed this morning.....
Back to reality though great performance by him yesterday and without Yates he would have looked even better ! Some class young riders there aswell Poole,Gloag,Ujtederbroeks all under 23 ! Yates put 2 minutes into the record of that last hour climb 😲 So just shows that Thibaut is back to his peak form.Trouble is there's a lot of new kids on the block since his last peak/pre injury.But we can dream Thibaut style...one guarantee is there will tears 😍

Gaviria takes the final stage in Romandie with a classy sprint....forgot all about him being at Movistar !
Overall GC goes to Adam Yates chapeau !

Was Romardie a bit low key this year?

ISTR it being a bit of a playground for top GC contenders. Not knocking Yates but the start list wasn't all that stellar.

It went that way since the giro took an extra day for difficult foreign starts, so there is/was less time between them.

There was a couple of class stages...For Yates one of his biggest wins,but for the younger riders there they showed us what's to come ! Great to see Bernal back in the game,did some monster rides helping his team.
This top ten has some huge talent...

Intrigued to see how Chloe Dygert goes in her first race back after that awful accident. Very much hoping Kasia finally gets her win (or actually anyone from Canyon SRAM, they work so hard).

Fully agree. Minor Races should probably be renamed something like 'The 2023 racing season' as only grand tours (men's) and the TdFFaZ seem to get their own thread.
