Yesterday's forecast looked quite reasonable, I was very disappointed. This is much better

To be fair MVDP can handle the rain and Pog can handle anything other than the warmest days of the Tour. Not my favourite race of the year but it does tend to be the most open.

Alpecin pushing the pace to keep the gap below 5 minutes with a mere 240km to go. Others less keen resulting in a small group accidentally riding away. Possibly not a day to be lurking at the back for anyone with ambitions.

Usually for this race I'm sitting in grey and grim weather, gazing at the blue of the Italian Riviera and longing for spring to finally arrive.
Today it's bright sunshine here in Copenhagen and grim in Italy.
