Yeah, tried to ride the Cipressa really hard but had to ease off as his team couldn't quite handle the pace he wanted set. Left him short on PoggioDidn't Pog try to wind it up from a long way before the Poggio but ran out of teammates in the end.
Burn off the opposition but burn out your domestiques
Mads has developed stealth abilities this year ., might be the guy they let go while looking at each other
Trek have a pretty simple plan - Mads tries to stay with attacks on Poggio and if they stay away then beat them in the sprint. If they don't then e rides for Milan (it's only 300km away... Boom-tish!)I'd kind of agree but it's hard to see Pog letting anyone go, given his style, unless it's a long range attack from Mads that nobody thinks will succeed.
How does Pog escape MvdP and others who can outsprint him?Light rain for the last hour or two and a tailwind for the final 60k forecast...for now.
But that's all for those that want to think it'll make a difference
Pogs won this .....Bet 365 take my money now 🤞
You're overthinking it 😁How does Pog escape MvdP and others who can outsprint him?
Timing
According to the official itinerary, the men will leave Pavia at 10.25 CET. Based on the fastest schedule (46kph), they will cross the Turcino at 13.31, and hit the first of the Capi at 15.32. They turn onto the Cipressa at 16.04, and the Poggio at 16.30, finishing at 16.42 CET.
For the women, they will leave Genoa at 10.35 CET, hit the first of the Capi at 13.02, Cipressa 13.36, Poggio at 14.05, and finish at 14.18 CET.
A perfect amount of time for a nap between the end of the women’s race and the real start of the men’s race.
This is the info we crave. Cheers RedTiming

Thanks for this. Coincidentally I just did a bit of half hearted unsuccessful searching for this and came to CC to ask precisely this question.
TV-wise (rather than streaming) they may be pausing coverage to show the women's edition - this is how Max is doing it in DenmarkIt’s just about starting and I am still as yet unclear as to which streams will be available.
It’s supposed to be on Sporza (but it’s not on VRT 1) and RTBF in Belgium. EiTB Basque, NOS Netherlands and in Italy, the first 3 hours are on Rai Sports and the finale on RAI 2. However, they appear to have no coverage for 90 minutes, mid race.
I can get linear TNT, but that means American level quantity of ad breaks.
