Yep, I have. As you say, I doubt it would stop any invasion, especially a Panzer rumbling down the lane opposite!

A memorial plaque on the end of a house that I must have ridden past at least once a month for 10+ years but only noticed it today.

Both examples are to be found beside the Haven, Boston's route to the Wash. The metal sculpture/memorial appears to be a new addition. Anyway both are together in said location and worthy of a visit on foot, bike or car.
