Mark Cavendish for SPOTY

Brawn....messed Button about so much over his 2010 contract, even though he stuck with them last winter even when it looked as if he might soon be out of a job, that he got fed up and signed with another team.

An interesting take on it. By 'stuck with them' I take it you mean couldn't get a drive anywhere else, and as to whether he jumped or was pushed to McLaren, I'd say his track record for not honouring contacts speaks volumes.

It's a shame that Cav didn't get the recognition but I think we have to expect this as cycling is a minority sport in this country. However I'm sure he recognises that in the world of cycling he is looked upon very favourably by the cycling public of most countries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
