To further illustrate how easily I get lost with the music world, I genuinely thought you were listening to Rap music and you were being quite progressive/open minded for your years.
For some reason, 10cc instantly made me think '10 Cent'... But I realise now that that was 50 Cent, or something anyway.
... Please, don't judge me too much! 🤣

There's a thin line between creative use of language and just shoehorning in words for the sake of a rhyme. Which side of that line "tonic and gin" falls is really a matter of personal taste.
